Merci Beaucoup Restaurant

We ate there at 1:30 on October 11th, 2024. We shared a catfish plate and got a side of redbeans and rice. Everything was hot and freshly cooked, it was some of the best catfish and redbeans we've ever had. Our server was adorable and so very nice, we will definitely be going back again.

A local friend recommended this restaurant because of their red beans, sausage and rice and catfish. They did not disappoint. We dined in and had a very friendly server. From the tempting menu we instead chose a tasty crawfish étouffée and meat pie (flaky crust and lots of filling) platter with dirty rice, each served with a fresh side salad, and great tasting iced teas. This was a very good and filling lunch! A bit more costly but definitely worth it! We did ordered the catfish and red beans, sausage and rice with bread pudding to go for our local friend!)

I had the crab cake burger with fries. My husband had chicken salad on croissant with sweet potato fries. It’s a great spot for lunch without getting too much and charging an excessive amount.I was happy with the price, atmosphere and quality of food.

This place is across the street from our hotel. However, we waited until the day we were leaving to have lunch here. Wow! Another great restaurant! My wife enjoyed the Meat Pie Plate. I enjoyed the Catfish Beaucoup. It was delicious. For dessert, the "Louisiana Sin Bar" was heavenly or sinfully delicious!! My wife got the "Old Fashioned Bread Pudding," which she enjoyed, and I enjoyed tasting.

A very pleasant vibe with white tablecloths. Friendly service. We both had the red beans and rice with sausage which was tasty with a slightly sweet sauce and good cornbread. I had the beef mini meat pies. Flavorful filling with just the right bit of heat in the spice. I was expecting 2 or 3 but there was a whole bowlful. Wife's crawfish mini meat pies were also well received. An enjoyable and memorable lunch. The meat pies or red beans alone would probably have been enough for lunch.

Took a day trip to visit a friend and ate early lunch! I ordered the regional Natchitoches meat pie with dirty rice. The meat inside the pastry was delicious! The dirty rice felt like a lot of meat including the meat in the pie. It was good.My table enjoyed their meals, the crawfish looked especially delicious.Service was great, but we were the first customers when they opened on a Wednesday, so it wasn’t busy.

Great staff. Phenomenal food. Comfortable atmosphere. You definitely should try the bread pudding and the Lemon icebox pie! Unbelievably delicious! They even have a nice covered patio to eat at. Easy to get to from I-49.

Great restaurant near historic front street in Natchitoches, LA. Staff had a great sense of southern hospitality. This was the first time I’ve ever had a meat pie and it was delicious. We also ordered some mini crawfish meat pies which were great as well. You can substitute the dirty rice for a cup of gumbo!
